CVS coupon deals

So, I bought a newspaper (at CVS) yesterday just for the coupons. I received a coupon for a free toothbrush.
I have been out of town for the past 3 Sundays. I made a plan and went to CVS.
B went to CVS when I was out of town and I found $1 ECB and a $1 off extra dark chocolate. I made a plan and made 2 transactions. I went in with 11.00 in ECBs.

My first transaction:

1 Colgate Total Advantage (2.99)(we needed toothpaste. B is using trial sizes)
1 Children's Advil (5.79) (no kids. I am making a gift basket)
1 2pack energy drink (4.99) (don't drink but I know someone who might)
